Renagh has over fifteen years’ experience of planning and implementing successful corporate communications programmes for professional services firms and trade associations. Whilst European Head of PR at Covington & Burling from 2001-2005, she effected a five-fold increase in media coverage, 70% of which was due to proactive effort and outperformed competitors. From 2006 – 2009, as an Associate Director at Lehmann Communications, she managed a portfolio of clients and sensitive mandates. These included managing the media relations aspects of a public affairs campaign that influenced the regulation of the legal sector. From 2010-2015 she was based in Brussels where she obtained accreditation as a journalist and wrote on EU policy for a variety of publications including Pensions Week, Broadband TV News and Inside Satellite. She also worked on external communications for Eurosif where she promoted sustainable and responsible investment in the financial markets. From 2014 – 2015, she was Contributing Editor of the International In-House Counsel Journal.
Acting as a spokesperson, she has been quoted on law firm marketing issues in The Guardian, The Lawyer and Marketing. Renagh studied law at UCL then qualified as a solicitor with a City firm. Her transition from lawyer to law firm marketeer, involved several years writing copy on a variety of assignments.
